‘Catwoman’ Jocelyn Wildenstein’s Face Transformation: A Look Back at Her Pre-Surgery Days

Jocelyn Wildenstein, 82, the former wife of billionaire art dealer Alec Wildenstein, has generated interest in the United States by sharing a vintage photo of herself before her extensive cosmetic surgery.

Wildenstein posted a photo on Instagram the night before to celebrate her daughter’s birthday. The photo showed pictures taken decades ago when her daughter was a baby. She wrote, “Happy birthday to my beautiful daughter, Diane Wildenstein.”

Page Six noted that her current appearance is almost unrecognizable compared to her original face in the photo she posted.

Another outlet, People, commented that the New York socialite, known for undergoing multiple plastic surgeries, shared a past photo showcasing how much she has changed over the years.

Jocelyn Wildenstein, originally from Switzerland, married billionaire Alec Wildenstein, an art dealer from France, and once dominated the New York social scene. However, she began to make headlines in American tabloids when she filed for divorce in 1997. During the divorce proceedings, Jocelyn claimed that her husband disliked being seen with older women, which led her to continue getting plastic surgery.

After her surgeries, she claimed to resemble a cat, earning the nickname “Catwoman.” She began keeping wild cats at home and favored wearing clothes with leopard prints.

However, in a magazine interview, Alec referred to Jocelyn, stating, “She was crazy.”

“I would always find out last. She thought she could fix her face like a piece of furniture. Skin does not work that way. But she wouldn’t listen.”

The couple accused each other of infidelity and domestic violence, leading to a messy two-year battle before agreeing to divorce in 1999.

At that time, the judge overseeing the divorce proceedings ordered Jocelyn not to use the settlement money for plastic surgery as part of the agreement.

Meanwhile, Alec Wildenstein passed away in 2008 from prostate cancer, and Jocelyn later claimed that she went bankrupt after Wildenstein’s family cut off her financial support.
