Samsung Electronics announced on January 25 that its The Frame Pro TV has been honored with an innovation award by CNN Underscored, the product review and recommendation arm of major US media outlet CNN, affirming its product excellence.
CNN Underscored bestows Innovation Awards on groundbreaking products across various categories, including home goods, beauty, and travel, following rigorous expert analysis and real-world testing. The platform lauded Samsung’s The Frame Pro for its cable-free design and powerful picture quality, describing it as a dual-purpose device that functions as both a high-quality display and an art frame. They hailed it as the first art TV to truly achieve “gallery-like minimalism,” surpassing the limitations of its predecessors.
The Wireless One Connect Box was singled out by CNN Underscored as the TV’s most significant innovation. They praised how this wireless transmitter for video and audio signals allows the display to be powered with a single cable, eliminating clutter and enabling a floating design that makes the screen appear to hover in mid-air.
The platform also commended the superior picture quality of The Frame Pro. They noted that the incorporation of Neo Quantum Dot Light Emitting Diode (QLED) technology significantly enhances contrast and brightness, while the matte display ensures consistent picture quality whether viewing art or watching TV and movies.
Samsung Electronics showcased The Frame lineup at CES 2026, the world’s premier consumer electronics and technology show in Las Vegas, garnering significant attention from numerous media outlets.
Business Insider, a leading American business publication, identified the 98-inch The Frame as one of the most anticipated display trends for 2026. Meanwhile, Gadget Match, a respected tech review site, dubbed it the Best Product of CES 2026. U.S. tech media outlets Residential Systems and Gadgety also crowned The Frame as the top product at CES 2026.
Samsung Electronics continues to cement its leadership in the art TV sector, with The Frame at the forefront. The company has expanded its Samsung Art Store, an art subscription service first introduced with The Frame TV in 2017, to its major product lines including QLED, Neo QLED, Micro LED, and Micro RGB TVs. Recently, Samsung announced plans to include OLED TVs in this initiative, aiming to further dominate the art TV market.
The Samsung Art Store offers over 5,000 works from world-renowned museums, galleries, and artists in stunning 4K quality, allowing users to experience gallery-quality art from the comfort of their living rooms.
