Elon Musk’s Secret Affairs with SpaceX Staff: What We Know

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, is reported to have had sexual relationships with several SpaceX employees and allegedly pressured some employees into having children.

The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on the 11th that Musk had met a 20-year-old female college student who had worked at SpaceX from 2017 to 2019. Starting as an intern, she was promoted to an executive position after developing a relationship with Musk and worked at SpaceX for two years before leaving the company.

The WSJ used this scandal to re-examine Musk’s past sexual misconduct allegations.

Even while married to British actress Talulah Riley, Musk is suspected of approaching female employees. In 2014, he invited a female employee, who assisted him with SpaceX tasks and personal affairs, to his place for drinks. They had a sexual encounter that night, and Musk reportedly sent her late-night messages suggesting they continue their relationship.

In 2016, there were allegations of sexual harassment against a female flight attendant at SpaceX. It was claimed that Musk exposed himself in front of her while receiving a full-body massage on a private flight to London, offering to buy her a horse for sexual intercourse.

The flight attendant alleges she was terminated after refusing Musk’s demand. Musk and SpaceX reportedly paid her $250,000 in settlement after securing a promise from her not to disclose the incident.

Another woman who worked at SpaceX in 2013 revealed that Musk had pressured her into having children, arguing that the world is facing a population decline and that children with high IQs need to be born. She rejected Musk’s proposal and allegedly left the company after receiving stock and cash worth $1 million.

A fourth woman had a one-month sexual relationship with him in 2014 and left the company when their relationship ended on bad terms.

The WSJ confirmed Musk had relationships with at least four SpaceX employees.

Despite making frequent headlines for his relationships with women, Musk has only been married twice. In 2008, he married Canadian science fiction writer Justine Wilson, with whom he had five children before divorcing eight years later.

He married British actress Talulah Riley in 2010, but they divorced two years later. They reunited but finally split in 2016. Musk also has a son named X with Canadian singer Grimes, with whom he lived together. Musk has ten children, including children from outside of marriage.
