Tokyo Police Arrest Korean Student for Inappropriate Behavior

According to a report by Sankei Shimbun on the 9th, Japanese police arrested a Korean university student for committing indecent acts towards a female junior high school student he had never met before.

According to the media outlet, the suspect is accused of committing indecent acts such as touching the girl’s chest from behind or stroking her thighs for about an hour in the living room of an apartment in Nakano Ward, Tokyo, at around noon on January 26th.

According to Nogata Police Station, the suspect is an international student, and the junior high school student was known to be an acquaintance of a woman the suspect was dating at the time.

At the time of the incident, both the woman and the junior high school girl were visiting the suspect’s house. The incident became known as the junior high school student reported to the police station in February.

Local police arrested the suspect in downtown Tokyo. It was also reported that the suspect is denying some of the charges, admitting that he touched the girl’s chest but was not intentional.
