Unleash Your Creativity: Join Google’s 8-Second Video Challenge with Veo 3 and Win Big!

Google announced on Tuesday a new collaboration with the fashion platform Musinsa for a two-week video creation event titled the “8-Second Veo Challenge.” Running until September 30, this challenge showcases Google’s cutting-edge AI video generation tool, Veo 3.

This program was designed to provide students with an opportunity to use Gemini directly and to experience AI technology naturally in their daily lives through creative video production.

Participants can create an 8-second video using Veo and share it on Instagram.

The challenge is open to all current Google AI Pro users, including both college and graduate students enrolled in the Gemini Student Year Benefits Support Program. Students wishing to join must first register for the recently announced Google AI Pro University Student Year Benefits Support Program and then upload their Veo-created video to Instagram.

A total of 65 participants will be selected through a lottery to receive various prizes.

A Google official stated, “We have partnered with Musinsa to help students create more enjoyable and special memories using Gemini during the university festival season. We are excited to see how advanced AI technologies like Veo 3 and Nano Banana can spark creativity and imagination across campus life. We hope students will express their unique personalities and gain fun and inspiration through this challenge.”
