Samsung and LG Dominate Best TVs Ratings

Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics, South Korea’s leading TV manufacturers, have won the “Best TV” title in the latest TV evaluation by the influential U.S. consumer advocacy magazine, Consumer Reports.

Industry insiders revealed on Tuesday that Consumer Reports‘ recent assessment highlighted several Samsung OLED TV models as top-tier products. These include the QN65S90F, QN65S95F, QN65S90D, and QN65S95D, along with the Neo Quantum Dot LED (QLED) TV model QN65QN90F.

The QN65S90F model stood out for its excellent picture quality, impressive HDR performance, and superior sound. It features an AI processor and supports 4K resolution at a 144Hz refresh rate, complete with an auto low-latency mode. Meanwhile, the QN65S95F model topped the charts in picture quality and HDR performance. It offers vibrant visuals and comes equipped with a built-in 4.2.2 channel Dolby Atmos speaker system, ensuring a top-notch audio experience.

Samsung’s success extends beyond this recent accolade. At CES 2026, the world’s premier consumer electronics and IT showcase, the company’s TV and audio lineup featuring OLED and micro RGB technologies received widespread acclaim from global media outlets. Samsung products unveiled at CES garnered over 130 “Best Product” awards from major international media and industry experts.

A standout among these was Samsung’s 130-inch micro RGB TV, which numerous media outlets hailed as a game-changer. T3, a prominent British tech publication, described it as “overwhelming,” praising not only its impressive size but also its striking design that leaves a lasting impression.

LG Electronics also made waves in the Consumer Reports evaluation, with three of its OLED TV models—OLED65C4PUA, OLED65G5WUA, and OLED65C5PUA—earning top marks. The OLED65C4PUA model excelled in picture quality tests and received a perfect score of 90 for its exceptional sound, powered by advanced HDR technology. Its updated AI processor and support for 144Hz gaming were additional highlights. The OLED65G5WUA, a 4K OLED TV, was praised for its outstanding HDR capabilities and superior picture quality. This model introduces a groundbreaking four-stack OLED panel, significantly enhancing color saturation. It also features a state-of-the-art processor, Dolby Atmos audio support, and improved gaming performance with refresh rates up to 165Hz.
