Unlock Your Imagination: Make Your Personalized Jjordy Character with Kakao’s AI

Kakao announced on Monday that it is launching an AI-powered image generation promotion that allows users to create their own personalized Jjordy characters using the “ChatGPT for Kakao” service. When users upload a photo, the AI analyzes the subject’s features to produce a unique character image based on the Jjordy universe. Jjordy, an expansion of the popular NINIZ character Jordy, has captured the hearts of many since its debut in 2024.

Users can access the service by tapping the ChatGPT button at the top of the Chat tab in the KakaoTalk mobile app. From there, they can select the “Create My Jjordy” banner in the upper right menu. On the promotion page, users can upload a single photo per session and click “Generate.” Within minutes, the AI-generated image will be ready, with a notification sent via KakaoTalk channel message.

The opportunity to create a Jjordy character image refreshes daily at 10 a.m. A Kakao spokesperson expressed hope that this feature will provide users with an enjoyable and accessible way to experience AI technology through creating their own unique characters. The company plans to continue developing innovative ways for users to interact with AI in their everyday lives.
