Dell Technologies unveiled new products and features on Wednesday to accelerate data center modernization for businesses and organizations. The updates span key infrastructure components, including servers, storage, and data protection.

Among the highlights are the newly introduced Dell PowerEdge R470, R570, R670, and R770 servers, equipped with Intel Xeon 6 processors featuring P-cores.

These single—and dual-socket servers, available in 1U and 2U form factors, are engineered to support legacy workloads and modern applications such as high-performance computing, virtualization, analytics, and AI inference.

The PowerEdge R770, in particular, enables users to consolidate legacy platforms, achieving up to 80% space savings and improved power efficiency per 42U rack. This consolidation can reduce energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions by up to 50% while delivering up to 50% more cores per processor and 67% better performance.

By minimizing their data center footprint, organizations can meet sustainability goals and lower the total cost of ownership—without compromising performance.

The PowerEdge R570 also sets a new standard for performance per watt on Intel architecture, helping businesses maintain powerful workloads while significantly reducing energy consumption.

In the storage segment, Dell Technologies continues to enhance its PowerStore platform. Built on a highly programmable automation framework, PowerStore offers advanced data reduction capabilities and independently scalable storage services to meet the demands of today’s distributed IT environments. The latest software update adds AI-driven analytics, enhanced zero-trust security, and support for advanced file systems.

Furthermore, Dell introduced its next-generation object storage platform, Dell Technologies ObjectScale, designed to support large-scale AI workloads with exceptional scalability, performance, and efficiency. The updated enterprise-grade architecture now includes new node models, with the ObjectScale XF960 delivering up to twice the throughput per node compared to competitors and up to eight times the density of previous-generation all-flash products.

“Modern applications demand infrastructure that can keep up with the evolving needs of data centers,” said Kim Kyung Jin, CEO of Dell Technologies Korea. “Only Dell Technologies offers a complete, end-to-end distributed infrastructure portfolio that reduces complexity, boosts IT agility, and accelerates data center modernization.”
