Say Goodbye to Dry Skin: Fall’s Moisturizing Must-Haves!

News1

As the scorching heat fades and cool autumn weather sets in, the dry, chilly conditions can easily lead to dry skin, requiring special care.

Medical experts warned that the early symptoms of dry skin include tightness and tension, but as the condition worsens, itching can occur. Scratching or rubbing the itchy areas can lead to dry eczema characterized by redness due to inflammation. Moreover, if dry skin persists, it can accelerate skin aging, leading to reduced skin elasticity and the formation of wrinkles.

As people age, the skin’s natural components responsible for maintaining moisture, such as ceramides, cholesterol, and hyaluronic acid, decrease. Therefore, it is essential to apply adequate moisturizing products immediately after washing the face. In response to such consumer needs, the cosmetics industry is expanding its range of high-functionality products that offer deep moisturization, with many brands launching large-capacity moisturizing products tailored for the autumn season.

Functional, clean beauty brand Labcle from Hyundai Pharmaceuticals recently launched an art collaboration edition of the Peptide Cream Skin Moisturizing Toner 310ml. This new large-capacity product is nearly double the size of the original and ranked first in the toner category of Glowpick in 2021. It features a high-concentration peptide formula designed to improve wrinkles, enhance elasticity, and boost hydration, promoting smooth skin. Clinical studies demonstrated 100 hours of sustained hydration, a 4.3% improvement in moisture retention within skin layers, and a 1.6% enhancement in skin radiance. Human application tests confirmed improvements in wrinkles, skin texture, and elasticity, showing a 91.5% increase in skin moisture levels, a 5.8% reduction in roughness, and a 50.6% increase in radiance.

LG Household & Health Care has released a limited quantity of the Belif The True Cream Moisturizing Balm 2nd Generation Jumbo Edition, which offers 125ml—2.5 times the previous capacity. This jumbo edition, available only once a year, includes a refreshing Moisturizing Balm Toner that provides deep nourishment and hydration to the skin.

Goodal, a natural skincare brand from Clio, introduced the Peony Peptide Wrinkle Essence Mist, providing convenient nourishment and radiance care. Packed with five types of peptides and plant-based proteins extracted from peony flowers, this antioxidant-rich mist helps maintain glowing, hydrated skin through three layers of moisturizing oils.

An industry expert advised, “During the dry seasons of spring and autumn, using a humidifier to maintain indoor humidity at 60% is effective, and applying moisturizing products within three minutes of washing your face is particularly beneficial.” The expert also recommended using 1.5 times the usual amount of moisturizer during these seasons, suggesting large-capacity products for better cost-efficiency.
