Online Community

Director Hong Sang Soo and actress Kim Min Hee, who have been in an affair for nine years, continue to show their unwavering affection.

On the 9th, recent photos of Director Hong and Kim Min Hee were posted on an online community. The two visited a cafe in Korea and smiled brightly at the camera.

Director Hong, dressed in a blue shirt, looked much the same as before. On the other hand, Kim Min Hee boasted her consistent fashion sense dressed in all black with silver earrings, but the glimpse of gray hair seemed to show traces of time.

The person who posted the picture explained, “This is said to be the day before the shooting of Hong Sang Soo’s 33rd feature film.”

Meanwhile, the relationship between Director Hong and Kim Min Hee began with Right Now, Wrong Then (2015). Despite a 22-year age difference, the two developed a romantic relationship. Since officially announcing their relationship in 2017, Kim Min Hee and Director Hong have worked together, with Kim Min Hee starring in his works.

The problem is that Director Hong is legally married. He filed for divorce from his wife in November 2016, but the Seoul Family Court dismissed the case in 2019, and Director Hong did not appeal the decision.
