Unlock the Future: Meet the New iPhone 17e and iPad Air M4

Apple unveiled the iPhone 17e and the M4-powered iPad Air on March 3.

The iPhone 17e is available in matte black, white, and soft pink. Starting at 990,000 KRW (about 673 USD) for the 256GB model, pre-orders open on March 4, with the official release set for March 11.

The iPhone 17e is powered by the A19 chipset and features Apple’s custom C1X cellular modem, offering speeds up to twice as fast as the C1 in the iPhone 16e. It also boasts a 48MP Fusion camera capable of 4K Dolby Vision video and 2x optical quality zoom.

The device features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display with Ceramic Shield 2, providing three times greater scratch resistance than its predecessor and improved glare reduction. It also supports MagSafe for wireless charging and seamelss integration with the accessory ecosystem.

Apple also introduced the M4-equipped iPad Air with expanded memory. Pricing starts at 949,000 KRW (about 645 USD) for the 11-inch model and 1,249,000 KRW (about 849 USD) for the 13-inch version. Educational pricing begins at 870,000 KRW (about 590 USD) and 1,170,000 KRW (about 795 USD) for the 11-inch and 13-inch models, respectively. Pre-orders begin on March 4, with the official launch on March 11.

The M4-powered iPad Air delivers up to 30% faster performance than its M3 predecessor and up to 2.3 times the speed of the M1 model. It features Apple’s N1 networking chip, supporting Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread, along with the C1X modem.
