Virtual idol group IXIA has met their fans via the radio.
On Wednesday, IXIA members Cheong-a, Hae-rang, Lu-hwa, and Ji-ya made their first-ever radio appearance on OBS Radio’s Seorin’s Power Live.
Despite signs of excitement and nervousness, they quickly won over listeners during the hour-long “Power Special” segment, showcasing their quick wit and undeniable charm.
Introducing themselves, IXIA explained, “Our name represents the journey of four members coming together to discover our true selves. We aspire to share great music and spread love through our work.” The members then offered a refreshingly sincere greeting to their audience.
IXIA performed live versions of the double title tracks from their debut album “Hide & Find” – “Hide and Seek” and “Lovi-lovi.” Their polished performance and distinctive vocal tones elicited enthusiastic responses from fans.
The group’s diverse personalities and entertainment sense shone through as they shared various stories, including behind-the-scenes details of their formation and their first impressions of one another. Member Cheong-a also showcased a unique talent,
As the show concluded, IXIA shared their aspirations, stating, “Through our activities, we hope to introduce IXIA to a wider audience and consistently deliver music that reflects our unique style.” They added, “Being on the radio was a dream come true. It was both an honor and a joy. Although we were nervous during our first broadcast, it turned out to be an incredibly fun and meaningful experience. We’re grateful for the support and hope our fans will continue to cheer us on.”
IXIA, who debuted with the single “Hide & Find” on August 27, recently concluded a successful debut showcase. The group plans to continue engaging with fans through various content, including additional radio appearances.
