A 66-year-old woman in Germany has drawn widespread attention after giving birth to her 10th child through natural conception.

According to People magazine and other international media outlets, Alexandra Hildebrandt gave birth to a 3.3 kg (7.3 lb) baby boy via cesarean section on March 19 at Charité Hospital in Berlin, Germany. Both the mother and baby are in good health. The baby’s name is Philipp.

Hildebrandt, who works as the director of the Berlin Wall Museum, conceived her 10th child naturally without undergoing any fertility treatments or hormone therapy.

She had her first child at the age of 20. Her oldest, Svitlana, is now 46 and currently raising nine children, including her second child, Artyom, who is 36, and her youngest, Katharina, who is 2.

Regarding the case, Dr. Wolfgang Henrich, Hildebrandt’s obstetrician, emphasized that while complications typically increase with a woman’s age, Hildebrandt has had no such issues.

Hildebrandt shared that the key to her healthy pregnancy was maintaining a very healthy diet, swimming for an hour regularly, and taking two-hour walks.

She said that living as a large family brings her joy and emphasized that, above all, raising her children properly is what she values most.
