Hyundai Movex has won a product design award at the prestigious iF Design Award 2025, further cementing its reputation for innovation on the global stage. The iF Design Award, established 75 years ago by Germany’s International Forum, recognizes excellence in design across nine categories, including product, packaging, and concept. Entries are judged on criteria such as innovation, functionality, and sustainability.

Hyundai Movex’s triumph came with its Flat Body Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) trio. These robots garnered acclaim for their sleek black-and-white aesthetics, refined cover seams, and practical applications in industrial environments.

These AGVs boast a versatile design that accommodates various top-mounted devices. This flexibility allows customized transport methods, including unidirectional or omnidirectional movement, height adjustment, and conveyor or lift integration. Such adaptability makes it highly valuable across diverse industrial settings.

Hyundai Movex is now focusing on standardizing the AGV’s top-mounted components to streamline manufacturing and enhance customization. These efforts bolster the company’s market presence in emerging sectors with high demand for logistics robots, such as electric vehicle battery production, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology.

Since its state-of-the-art Cheongna R&D Center was established in 2019, Hyundai Movex has sharpened its technological edge. Focusing on AGV development and smart logistics solutions, the company has recently secured significant contracts for large-scale global smart logistics projects, further expanding its AGV supply reach.

This latest recognition follows another design award from last year, when Hyundai Movex received the Good Design Award from Australia for its innovative “Subway Screen Door Safety Step.”

A spokesperson for Hyundai Movex stated, “The aesthetic appeal of industrial equipment is becoming increasingly important. We are committed to enhancing our smart logistics competitiveness through continuous design innovation to meet and exceed the expectations of our global clientele.”
