Conservative political commentator, writer, and author Ashley St. Clair, 26, has filed a paternity and custody lawsuit against Elon Musk, Tesla CEO and head of the Department of Government Efficiency. St. Clair revealed that she gave birth to Musk’s 13th child and claimed that Musk has been out of contact.

People Magazine reported that St. Clair had filed the lawsuit with a New York court the previous day, seeking to establish Musk’s paternity and secure custody rights.

St. Clair alleged that Musk was not present when she gave birth last September. She claimed that he has only met the baby three times since then and has not been involved in the child’s care or upbringing.

St. Clair revealed that they began a romantic relationship in May 2023, and she got pregnant in January 2024. Shortly after giving birth, Musk met the baby for the first time for two hours on September 21, 2023, followed by a brief one-hour visit the next day.

According to St. Clair, Musk maintained contact, texting on November 24, “I want to knock you up again.” However, when she requested he visit the child, Musk reportedly avoided contact, claiming he was receiving “credible death threats everyday.” St. Clair included text messages exchanged with Musk and a photo of him holding the baby in her court filing to substantiate her claims.

St. Clair stated that Musk’s last interaction with the baby was a 30-minute visit on November 30. He allegedly asked her not to list his name on the birth certificate.

In response to St. Clair’s request to meet, Musk reportedly texted that he receives daily assassination threats and described himself as the second-highest assassination target after Trump. He added that it wasn’t the time to sacrifice his security and ominously warned that if he made a mistake in security, the child would never know who his father was.

Meanwhile, musician Grimes, Musk’s ex-partner and the mother of three children has also reported communication issues with him.

On February 20, Grimes posted on social media pleading for Musk to respond to “medical issues.” She added, “I’m not giving any details, but he won’t respond to texts, calls, or emails and has skipped every meeting, and our child will suffer lifelong impairment if he doesn’t respond ASAP.”

However, Grimes didn’t disclose specifics about the medical issue her child is facing. Musk, known for his unconventional personal life, has reportedly fathered thirteen children with four women through various means, including surrogacy and IVF.
