Lily Phillips, a 23-year-old British adult entertainer, has sparked controversy with her plan to set a world record by engaging in sexual activities with 1,000 men in 24 hours.
The New York Post reported that Phillips is currently recruiting participants for what she calls “the most astonishing record-breaking event of the year.” However, medical experts are warning about the potential negative impacts on both her physical and mental health.
The current world record in this category belongs to adult film star Lisa Sparks, who had encounters with 919 men during an adult industry event in Poland in 2004. Sparks later commented that she “had a blast, but was in pain for a week afterwards.”
Phillips has reportedly been preparing for months to surpass this existing record. In a recent podcast appearance, she revealed, “I’ve already been with 101 men in one session, and I’m doing 300 in a few weeks.” She likened the experience to a boxing match, candidly admitting that the training process is hard and exhausting.
Australian medical expert Dr. Zac Turner expressed serious concerns about the potential physical and mental health risks to Phillips. He explained, “While sex in moderation can promote stress relief and cardiovascular health, engaging in continuous sexual activity for 24 hours can cause severe physical and physiological strain.”
Dr. Turner further warned that such intense activity with multiple partners in a short timeframe not only leads to extreme fatigue but also significantly increases the risk of sexually transmitted infections. He stated, “While it might be a cardiovascular workout, it’s one likely to end with more harm than good.”
Phillips explained the details of the complex logistics involved in her record attempt, from participant management to safety measures. “Participants must send a photo of themselves holding their ID, and my PA has to basically organize them into hour time slots,” she explained. She also stated, “The plan is to get a room with two doors. They need to walk in the room and then leave. The logistics of this are insane,” emphasizing the intricacy of the setup.
