Adidas is making waves with their latest unique design, “toe shoes.”

Recently, Adidas collaborated with Italian fashion brand AVAVAV and unveiled the “Superfinger Superstar Shoes” at Milan Fashion Week. The shoes are priced at $250.

The shoes are shaped like flippers, featuring four rubber toes. They are available in black or red.

These shoes can be attached to other footwear. Adidas suggests pairing them with its iconic Superstar sneakers for the ultimate fashion statement.

Adidas stated that the Superfinger is detachable, offering versatility for both sports and daily use. They explained that users can select the functionality according to their specific needs.

Beate Karlsson, AVAVAV’s creative director, shared that this collaboration was a dream come true but added that she didn’t take it too seriously.

Karlsson explained, “From the beginning of our partnership, I was encouraged to ‘make fun’ of Adidas.” She added, “There’s so much irony in how seriously we take both sports and fashion, and exploring that while maintaining a serious attitude has been incredibly fun.”

Upon seeing the product, the internet reacted with comments such as, “Is this a chicken run?”, “It is the clown world,” “It looks like an alien foot,” “Ugly shoes have been born,” and “If this is the trend, urgent treatment is necessary.”

Despite the negative reviews, the Superfinger shoes are already sold out online in certain sizes, such as 280-290.
