Gaza’s Grim Reality: 40,000 Lives Lost in Ongoing Conflict

As the war between Israel and Hamas drags on, the number of Palestinian fatalities has surpassed 40,000.

According to Al Jazeera and other sources, the Health Ministry in Gaza reported that the death toll has reached 40,005 since October of last year. They also noted that the number of injured has climbed to 92,401.

The Health Ministry indicated that approximately 33% of the casualties are children, and about 18.4% are women.

The conflict has also claimed the lives of 329 Israeli soldiers. The number of injured Israeli soldiers stands at 2,206, while around 4,800 Israeli civilians have been reported injured.
