Air France Soars to the Top Once Again: Named Best Airline in Western Europe!

On June 28, Air France announced that it was selected as the Best Airline in Western Europe for four consecutive years at the 2024 World Airline Awards organized by Skytrax.

The airline also received high praise for its La Première service, equivalent to first class on select routes. It topped the charts again in the First Class Airline Lounge Catering and First Class Inflight Catering categories.

Fabien Pelous, Vice President of Customer Experience at Air France, said, “We are delighted that the special inflight services offered by Air France, including French cuisine, have been recognized through this award. As we rank within the top 10 airlines in the world, we will continue to strive to ensure that our customers can experience high satisfaction.”

La Première offers a tailored travel experience for customers who value every small element of their journey. Upon arrival at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, La Première customers can use the lounge located at terminal 2E. They can enjoy fine dining and a wine and champagne list presented by French culinary master Alain Ducasse and his team. The menu features dishes such as coquillettes pasta with ham and black truffle, and rum or Armagnac baba.

The La Première cabin, installed on some of Air France’s Boeing B777-300ER aircraft, consists of four seats. Inflight meals are provided from menus by renowned Michelin-starred chefs Anne Sophie Pic, Emmanuel Renaut, and Glenn Viel.

This summer, Air France is introducing a dedicated check-in lobby for La Première customers, along with wider seats. Furthermore, the company plans to unveil a renovated version of the La Première cabin in the winter of 2025.
