Meta Platforms reported third-quarter earnings that surpassed market expectations. On Wednesday, the company announced revenues of $40.59 billion and earnings per share of $6.03.
These results exceeded the forecasts from market research firm LSEG, which had estimated revenues at $40.29 billion and earnings per share at $5.25.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg highlighted significant investments in artificial intelligence (AI) as the key factor for the 19% increase in revenue compared to the previous year.
